St. Louis Union Station is a former train station and National Historic Landmark in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Opened in 1894, it was the largest station in the world with 31 tracks under an enclosed train shed. Passenger traffic peaked at 100,000 people a day in the 1940s. The last Amtrak passenger train left the station in 1978.
